Prof. Aadil S. Chagla begins his talk by sharing his ground breaking thoughts on ‘Seeking perfection’ and laying emphasis on giving to future generations through the process of teaching. He accentuates importance of gratitude and the role maturity, flawlessness and supreme excellence play in achieving perfection. His extensive experience gives him unparalleled insight into the world of neurosurgery. Furthermore, he shares his inspirational life experiences which truly make one believe that nothing is impossible. Professor Aadil S. Chagla has remarkable achievements in varied fields. He is one of India’s topmost neurosurgeons with over 100 National and International publications & presentations, 4 of which were recently presented at the Special World Congress of the WFNS. He runs a charitable trust in his father’s memory; represents the famous Bombay Gymkhana in cricket; featured in many victories in cricket tournaments at the school, college and club levels such as the “A” div Kanga League; played with Gavaskar, Vengsarkar, & Tendulkar; recently, represented INDIA in the veterans World Cup; also excelled in Athletics & Badminton; received awards for Art & Music-Piano Forte during his school & college days, secured a 100% at the Trinity College of Music exams; a proficient musician even won the All INDIA Mood Indigo Music Competition; His driving skills won him car rally in the classic cars category in a Humber Hawk.
