The diffusion of COVID 19 is fueled by fine dust pollution. Leonardo Setti has succeeded in demonstrating this scientifically and explains how this diffusion takes place. The most effective solution? Renouncing the use of energy derived from fossil sources.
Leonardo Setti is a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry of the University of Bologna as well as an expert in renewable energy and bio-fuels.
Since 2018 he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Observatory for Environmental Sustainability and since 2020 he is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Environmental Medicine. His studies have identified the relationship between fine dust pollution and the spread of COVID-19.
